The first of the two workshops carried out as part of will start tomorrow SanPArtthe project of urban and social redevelopment of the San Paolo district of Bari promoted by Doc Creativity in collaboration with Studio Planning Idea and winner of the public notice “Urban art” of the Municipality.

The workshop that will begin tomorrow is dedicated to writing and rapping and will be held every Friday, from 5 to 7:30 pm. The workshop is dedicated to writing and has the aim of increasing the technical skills of the participants through a simple means accessible to everyone, which aims to provide the tools to express oneself and limit emotions in a context of sociality and discussion. The laboratory will be managed by Injustice And Reverend of the Bari Jungle BrothersApulian artists of reference in the national rap music scene.

The second workshop, however, will start on May 18th, includes three appointments (the other two are May 20th and 25th, again from 2pm to 6pm) and is dedicated to participatory art. The laboratory is curated by Pigment workshop with the artistic direction of Marika D’Ernest. During the works, the theme of consensus will be addressed, in a creative and critical way, letting the dialogue take shape through the artistic medium. By exploring the different artistic and technical forms, each participant will have the opportunity to contribute to the creation of the final work, a mural that will condense all the different perspectives and facets that have emerged on the topic in question.

All workshops will be held in House of Culturesin via Barisano da Trani 15, which will make its spaces available to artists and residents to encourage the best success of the activities

In via CifarielloMeanwhile, the creation of the second mural has begun. This is the work of Cheonactive artist from Gallipoli since ’95, master of writing appreciated internationally. The mural deals with the theme of the future, through the two most representative symbols of it: the sea and children. On a vibrant blue background, Cheone represents a child in beach gear holding a duck in his hand.
