OlivitalyMed: a sensorial journey into the heart of extra virgin olive oil
Public who will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the rich and varied world of extra virgin olive oil through meetings which will range from the sensorial aspect of extra virgin olive oil, to the health, agronomic, landscape aspect, passing through the combination of oil-tourism and oil-catering, with an interesting focus on the world of pizza and a meeting on the future prospects of extra virgin olive oil. It’s still masterclasses: on Campania oils, the beating heart of the event, taste of the olive oil expressions of the Mediterranean as well as an in-depth analysis of the extra virgin olive oils of the Gargano. «The commitment of the Campania Region and the Agriculture Department – he underlined Nicola Caputo, Councilor for Agriculture of the Campania Region – is yet another step in the process of valorising Campania’s excellence. In fact, all the activities will be set in the enchanting Rocca Cilento Castle, one of the most evocative locations in the area where extra virgin olive oil plays at home and which, with its elegant rooms and a breathtaking outdoor area, will make this weekend even more unforgettable. Among the most anticipated moments is the one that will see the maestro as the protagonist Peppe Vessicchioone of the most celebrated conductors in our country, who during the press conference, through a video intervention, highlighted the close combination between extra virgin olive oil and culture.
