The wave of bad weather that hit Rome and Lazio over the last week continues, including on the public holidays of April 25th and May 1st. Rains and storms are not destined to end, as announced by the Civil Protection department of the Lazio Region. Rain, showers and thunderstorms continue tomorrow, Friday 3 May 2024. And a new yellow warning for bad weather has been proclaimed for the third consecutive day.
Which areas are affected by the yellow alert
Rain and gray skies are expected across the Lazio region. But where do we expect the worst disruptions? According to the map in the image below, today’s yellow alert affects all areas of the region. This is an alert yellow due to hydrogeological criticality due to storms.

From area A with the northern coastal basins to B with the middle Tiber basin, from C with the Rieti Apennines to D, in the Rome basins.
