Follonica (Grosseto). Starting from Saturday 4 May “1 meeting per day“, the tour of Follonica by Matteo Buoncristiani, candidate for mayor of a strongly civic project also supported by the centre-right, who, every day, will go to a different place for a coffee or an aperitif to be consumed in the company of citizens interested in getting to know him and to discuss with him ideas for Follonica after the elections.
“1 meeting a day” is the natural continuation of the initiative “Nice to meet you, Matteo” which, in recent days, has seen the candidate multiply the number of his meetings with private citizens and professionals: «Because there are many appointment requests that continue to arrive – he precised the candidate -, we decided to simplify, creating frequent and widespread opportunities for discussion throughout the city. Suffice it to say that, to date, I have not yet been able to respond to all the requests that have come to me.”
With “1 meeting a day” Buoncristiani will move around the neighborhoods of Follonicaevery day in a different place, for a coffee in the morning around 10am or an aperitif in the afternoon around 6pm, so you can meet and talk to as many people as possible from all areas of the city: «A thoughtful idea – points out the candidate – to talk, every day and in an ever-changing place, about Follonica and its future, while sipping a cup of coffee or an aperitif together. In this way it will be easier to break the ice, look each other in the face and tell them who they are and, more importantly, listen to the proposals of those who live in the various areas of the city. I want the citizens to fully understand the highly civic nature of the project I am carrying out and I make myself available to the people of Follonica for any request they wish to submit to me”.
The first meeting
We start from Center neighborhood with the first meeting to be held Saturday 4 May starting at 10am for a coffee at “Pasticcera La Pineta” in via Giacomo Matteotti 47, and then continue to Cassarello Sunday 5 May from 10am for a coffee at “L’Imposto”, in via Cassarello 39, ea Pratoranieri Monday 6 Maystarting from 6pm, for an aperitif at Bar Ramazzotti in viale Italia 220.
«Until the presentation of the program, my watchword is “listen” – he concludes Good Christians – The program will then be the subject of numerous meetings with the townspeople and citizens of Follonica for a discussion on the contents emerging from the listening campaign. The calendar of “1 meeting a day” meetings will be updated periodically through my social channels and, if the citizens or the businesses themselves have some place to suggest to me, they can contact me directly. My desire is to start an in-depth and widespread discussion with the entire city, with the aim of keeping it alive at least for the entire duration of the next council session.”
