After the exciting long weekend of May 1st, which saw the participation of a thousand enthusiasts in the Wine March, the Wine Festival is preparing to experience its second and last weekend. An agenda full of events designed to satisfy visitors of all ages, with a perfect combination of fun and culture.

The key events of the weekend

Among the most anticipated attractions, the Luna Park continues to guarantee excitement for adults and children, while the local markets offer the opportunity to discover crafts and typical local products. There will be no shortage of moments of pure fun and reflection, accompanied by tastings of fine wines that celebrate the winemaking tradition of the region.

Unmissable community initiatives

The Vecchie Glorie association will liven up the weekend with the draw of its traditional lottery. At the same time, the last days of the parish charity fishing represent a further opportunity to contribute to local solidarity initiatives, while supporting the community.

FRIDAY 3 MAY 2024

At the Wine Festival on Friday 3 May, the amusement park and food and wine kiosks open at 6pm. Also at 6pm, at the Zen Café, Rainbow with DJ Koss and Luca Bacardi. At 6.30 pm at the Parish Recreation Center, Parish of S. Croce and BV del Rosario, The invention of the modern ball. At 8pm, in the Laluna Multifunctional Hall, in via Runcis 59 in San Giovanni di Casarsa, the solidarity dinner – Oltrelaluna Odv. Oltrelaluna ODV’s journey in Italy continues with solidarity dinners. On Saturday 4 May the Casarsa Wine Festival begins with the Make-up with Alexia at 5pm, in Piazza Italia. Ottica Franceschetto makes Alexia, the Masterchef make-up artist, available to children, who will be able to make their afternoon magical with fantastic make-ups of a superhero, princess or favorite animal.
At 5pm in via Pasolini Children’s Space 4M3 Aps, decoration of plaster molds which will be given as gifts to children. Free participation.

At the Arts, Flavours, Ancient Crafts and Creativity market in via G. Pasolini, via Risorgimento, via Valvasone and via Menotti. Also at 10am in via Pasolini, 4M3 Aps children’s space, plaster sleeping decorations that will be given as gifts to children. Free participation. Also at 10am and in the afternoon at 3pm, archery demonstration by ASD Arcieri della Fenice FVG in the garden of Palazzo Burovich de Zmajevich. At 11am in Amateca, central island of via XXIV Maggio, Training: white wines and cheeses, guided tasting by ONAV Section of Pordenone and ONAF. At 4.30pm and 6.30pm in Piazza Cavour Magic is not dead, a show of escapology and illusionism that involves you with its energy and fascinates you with its imagination and its truly impossible magic, showing you that even the unimaginable can become real.

At 5pm, in the Council Room of Palazzo Burovich de Zmajevich, Giuseppe Ragogna presents Friuli: stories of mountain rebirth. A travel report into the wildest valleys of Friuli. With Giuseppe Ragogna – writer – interviewed by Paola Dalle Molle vice-president of the Order of Journalists of Friuli Venezia Giulia. With a testimony from Anup Canuti on the profession of affineur: cheeses in the Landris cave.
Stories of courageous resistance and mountain regeneration, despite the phenomena of marginalization and depopulation. The stories unfold with simplicity along the route taken in the field, with the backpack on the shoulder and the notebook in hand. Different identikits are thus intertwined; the mountain inhabitants are the vanguards of a rebirth movement.

MONDAY 6 MAY

On Monday 6 May the Wine Festival will open at 6pm with the opening of the amusement park (and the second day of Ragazzinfesta offered by the managers) and the food and wine kiosks. At 8pm at the ASD Vecchie Glorie Calcio Casarsa Kiosk, via Valvasone 2, the draw of the Vecchie Glorie Lottery. At 8.30pm in the central island of via XXIV Maggio, Aperisagra: act II Reloaded, with Matteo Sal, Alex G. & Mr. Kris from Art of Sound, Luca Bacardi voice and Bubi voice on the console. At 9.30pm at the Amici Veni, Vidi and Brindi Bar and at 10.30pm the celebrations conclude with the Laser Show.
