San Pietro Vernotico, bomb attacks a grocery store

Night of fear a San Pietro Vernoticoin the Brindisi area, for one bomb detonated in front of the shop of food via Carrozzo. L’explosion which occurred shortly after 1 am and was clearly felt in the town. Once the alarm was raised, the police from the local station and the firefighters intervened on site to make the area safe. Major damage was recorded on the shutter and on part of the building’s façade. The military viewed the video surveillance images and collected useful elements to start investigations into the episode, whose contours were unclear.

This is the fourth bomb detonated against the market. Between October 2022 and last February, the commercial premises located in the historic center of the town had already suffered three other intimidating actions, including the setting on fire of the shutter, which was then riddled with gunshots.
