the motorbike breaks into two parts, half of it flies onto the net

Ai Ogura took a lot of risks during the Moto2 tests in Jerez. The Japanese rider had a bad accident, so much so that the bike broke with the entire front end hanging in the trackside net.

Test of Jerez scary for Ai Ogura. Impressive images arrive from the Spanish circuit where the 23-year-old Japanese driver had a terrible accident during testing Moto2. The motorbike was completely demolished, broken in two, after a high-speed fall. Even the front part of the Boscoscuro by the MTHelmets-MSi team – All the front end (fork and wheel) – remained hanging in the net on the edge of the track. Fortunately, there were no consequences for the Japanese driver, who however did not ride again after the accident for the necessary medical checks.

The rear part of the motorcycle remained intact.

In the images shown by Sky Sport you can see how the rear part of the motorbike was promptly made safe while the front part remained entangled. In fact the bike broke and judging from what we saw in Ogura it went really well and fortunately the rider did not suffer any type of physical problem. A message appeared on the team’s social media account: “We got quite a scare.” And it is precisely the case to say so judging by the impressive images arriving from Jerez.

Among those who had an accident today is also Celestino Vietti – also in this case fortunately without consequences – while Jake Dixon was ultimately the best of the day ahead of Somkiat Chantra and Tony Arbolino. In this unique day of testing also for the smaller classes the pilots they alternated with those of Moto3. Only a lot of fear therefore for Ogura who, however, even after the medical tests, preferred not to continue his tests, preferring to stay out.

Terrifying racing accident: car traveling in the wrong direction, the head-on collision is extremely violent

An understandable choice given the condition of the bike and the resulting scare for the Japanese rider. In Sunday’s race in Jerez, Ogura had finished the race in sixth place behind the winner Aldeguer followed by Roberts, Gonzalez, Garcia and Arenas. The next appointment now with the World Championship is on the weekend of 10-12 May when Oguri and Moto2 will be on stage at Le Mans for the French GP.
