A man was charged for aggravated theft after stealing chalices and host holders from a church of Busto Arsizio. Not happy, after the theft, he headed to the I buy gold to sell the stolen goods, which he then threw into a bush because it was not of value. Identified by the police thanks to the surveillance cameras inside the church, he was reported for aggravated theft.
It happened in the last few days Busto Arsizio, in the province of Varese. A man, already known to the police, stole chalices and host holders, believing they were made of gold. Soon after, he decided to sell everything to the gold buyer but, not being of value, he threw the stolen goods into a bushas stated in a note published by the police.
It was identified through analysis of video cameras closed circuit present inside the church. The police caught him while he stole the sacred objects kept inside the tabernacle. The man has the obligation to sign, therefore, in the following hours, he went to the offices of the Busto Arsizio police station to sign. He wore the same clothes that he had at the time of the theft. The police confronted him with the evidence.

The man he confessed of being the perpetrator of the theft, “adding that he had attempted to sell the sacred objects to a gold buyer but, having discovered that they were not made of precious metal, he had thrown them into a bush”, we read in a note released by the forces of the order.
Reported for aggravated theft, “his position will be evaluated also in view of a possible aggravation of the precautionary measure”, specify the police station. Most of the sacred objects has been lost. The police recovered only one cup.
