Fear in the early afternoon today, Tuesday 30 April 2024, at the intersection of via Santa Maria Mazzarello and the ancient road of Grugliasco in Turin, where an accident involving four vehicles occurred.
Initially, a truck and a Lancia Ypsilon car collided. The latter vehicle crashed into two illegally parked cars, a Fiat Panda and a Jeep Compass. In turn, the SUV ended up against the fence outside the Tilt tobacconist bar, fortunately without causing any injuries.
The two people traveling on board the Ypsilon, a man and a woman, were instead transported by ambulance to the Martini hospital. Their conditions are not serious. In addition to the health workers, local police officers intervened on site and carried out investigations for over three hours. The main hypothesis is that one of the two vehicles from which the crash originated went through a red light.
