12.00 PM – Update with images of the collision: Collision on A4 between 3 heavy vehicles: drivers stuck between the sheets of metal
The Alto Adriatico Autostrade concessionaire has established the mandatory exit at the San Donà di Piave junction for those coming from Venice following an accident that occurred at kilometer 426 (near the municipality of Noventa di Piave) shortly after 10.00 today, Tuesday 30 April.
Three heavy vehicles were involved in the collision. They are noted wounded. The staff also closed the entrance to San Donà towards Trieste to allow rescue operations.
The Cessalto toll booth also remains closed at the entrance to Trieste following the two accidents which occurred a few minutes apart from each other around 08.00 this morning in the stretch between Cessalto and San Stino and for which vehicle removal and road reclamation operations due to dispersion of material (paper) on the ground.
