Another fire in Settimo Torinese: a warehouse shed catches fire

Moments of fear in the last few days Settimo Torinese, where an old warehouse near the Settimo Cielo shopping center caught fire.

Burnt tires and a column of black smoke that rose from Via Torino: to put out the fire on site they immediately the local Carabinieri and three teams of the Fire Brigade intervened, with the Municipality also declaring the structure unusable, the interior of which was completely burned. Fortunately, no one was involved in the fire.

The competent bodies are trying to clarify what happened, but it seems that the nature of the fire is not malicious: inside the old warehouse the owners kept some eco-bales of hay allocated, which would have slipped to the ground and would have caught fire independently. Hay, in fact, is a type of material subject to spontaneous combustion when rubbing occurs.

The one in recent days, however, is the third fire that has occurred in the city in the space of less than a month and a half. We remember the case of the Fiat Panda which caught fire in via Colle dell’Assetta in mid-February. The fire, with the Settimo carabinieri and firefighters who promptly intervened on the spot, was also captured on a video posted online on social media by some passers-by. Only a week earlier, at the Fiat houses complex, another vehicle had gone up in flames. This time it was a Range Rover that burned, but in this case too the fire appears to have started independently:due to the fire it was most likely linked to an electrical problem that other cars from the manufacturer in question also encountered.
