Giancarlo Righini, the regional councilor visited the Bracciano-Martignano Regional Natural Park

The protected natural areas of the Region must become, as the Bracciano Martignano park is doing admirably, points of connection between the regional body and the territory so that work can be done for the benefit of all citizens by overcoming those bureaucratic barriers that are often the main obstacle for the development policies of a territory.” With these words the Councilor for Agriculture and Budget of the Lazio Region, Giancarlo Righinivisited the Bracciano-Martignano Regional Natural Park: first at the institution’s headquarters, then in Vicarello inside Casa di Ledo, Righini was welcomed by the extraordinary commissioner Tiziana Pepe Esposito and the director Daniele Badaloni, met the employees and young volunteers of the Civil Service. Also present were the institutional representatives of the Metropolitan City of Rome and the Province of Viterbo, starting with the Mayors of Bracciano, Anguillara Sabazia, Manziana, Oriolothe deputy mayor of Trevignano and a delegate from the Municipality of Sutri.

Also present were the presidents of the Gal Etruria Meridionale, the Consorzio Lago di Bracciano, the Dmo Beltur, managers of the Spazio Attivo Lazio Innova of Bracciano, with representatives of the farmers and fishermen categories. «It was an important day of discussion with the territory and with the categories that represent it. I was very pleased with the appreciation shown by the fishermen for the recovery of the hatchery and the exemption for the release of whitefish into the lake. The meeting with the productive realities of the territory for the valorisation of their agri-food chain linked to adequate environmental protection policies and incisive support programs was very stimulating», concluded the councilor for Budget, Economic Planning, Agriculture, Food Sovereignty, Hunting and Fishing and Parks and Forests of the Lazio region, Giancarlo Righini who in the protected natural area also appreciated the effort of the regional body for the opening of the Spazio di Porta del Parco, the Itinerario Giovani project and for the restoration of the archaeological area of ​​the Terme Apollinari di Vicarello with the restoration of the Nymphaeum of Apollo.
