Next Saturday, May 4th, the annual appointment returns to Isis Foresi for the “Lorenzo Claris Appiani” scholarship wanted by the family of the young lawyer killed on April 9th 2015 in the Milan court.
Scholarship for fifth year students of human sciences high school. The topic of the debate for the 2023/24 school year will be “Work: Right and commitment”.
The debate will be opened by Alberta and Aldo Claris Appiani, parents of Lorenzo, to whom the great hall of the school building on the Napoleon staircase in Portoferraio is dedicated.
The forty-two students of the two fifth classes will actively participate in the very current debate with some of the most important Elban entrepreneurs of companies that are the flagship of our island. Acqua dell’Elba with Fabio Murzi, Norman Larocca and Silvia Vancini, Alessandro Cavallo will represent his company, Ilva, and Massimo De Ferrari the hoteliers’ association. Professor Licia Baldi will also be present, who on March 20th received the honor of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic from President Mattarella.
The Snals union will represent the workers through the provincial secretary Fulvio Corrieri and the general secretary Elvira Serafini who will intervene remotely. Surprisingly, an important entrepreneur from the capital, a lover of our island, who was recently the protagonist of a beautiful initiative covered by all the national media, will also connect online. The school director Alessandra Rando and the mayor of Portoferraio Angelo Zini will also be present.
Professor Nicoletta Minelli will lead the debate.
