CONEGLIANO – Theft in via Kennedy in Conegliano yesterday morning. A well-known entrepreneur was the victim of a thief while he was going to the office. A woman, pretending to be looking for work, has took advantage of a moment of distraction to snatch his precious Rolex from him golden. The 72-year-old man said he was approached by the thief under a false pretext and did not realize the theft until it was too late.
The episode was reported by The Tribune. The identikit of the criminal, approximately 1.60 meters tall, with dark hair, was provided to the authorities, who are conducting investigations to track her down. She suspects that she may be part of a gang of “travellers”, individuals who strike in different cities without leaving a trace.
The man, already the victim of a similar attempt the previous week, hopes that the results of the investigations will lead to the capture of those responsible. OT
