Windmill-Arrow Of Gianni Capraro and Nicoletta Boassa won on Sunday the 40th edition of the Regional Exhibition of Italian Friesian Dairy Cattle, an event organized by Anafibj, AARSardegna and the Municipality of Arborea with the contribution of the Sardinia Region through the Agris agency. Beltra Farm Mogul Lahur of Beltrame Antonio and Renato Soc. Agr. SS is reserve champion cows while honorable mention goes to Art Basic Lea by Artudi Fratelli Societa Agricola Soc. Semplice.
All the animals were awarded by the general director of the regional agriculture department Giuseppina Ciredduby the president of AARSardegna Luciano Useli Bacchitta and by the mayor of Arborea Manuela Pintus.
On Saturday 27th the Regional Councilor for Agriculture Gianfranco Satta awarded the champion heifers and heifers Denver Marlena 205 of the Fattoria del Moro agricultural company, the champion reserves heifers and heifers Dooeman-liviaby Gianni Capraro and Nicoletta Boassa and the Honorable Mention for heifers and heifers Doc Priscyla of the Colombari Giuseppe heirs agricultural company.

The 40th edition of the Show, the first was in 1980, has never been characterized as this year by the presence of so many young people who also wanted to participate in the hosting competitions that enlivened the afternoon with the senior, junior, baby and very small categories to testify how the sector, despite experiencing moments of uncertainty, finds a lot of passion and dedication in the new recruits. This also applies to the work of Agafi and Aars who work all year round to educate young people on farming.
«This year too we have growing numbers and many young people present both in the stable and in the ring», commented the president AARSardegna Luciano Useli Bacchitta. «For this result – he continued – we must thank the work of our breeders and our technicians who support them 365 days a year but also the renewed synergies between the breeders system, the 3A, the Arborea Producers’ Cooperative and the Arborea Bank since we all have as our objective the development and profitability of Sardinian dairy cattle farms. We must not forget the importance of the economic support for the event by the Region through the funds donated both to the Municipality of Arborea and to our Association through the Agris Sardegna agency.
