| This morning at the Avis headquarters in Terranova di Pollino a ”special” day of donation took place because, in addition to the involvement of the Avis members, it saw the active participation of the firefighters of the Terranova di Pollino detachment. In fact, several firefighters donated, in addition to regular members. The donation session opened with a debate between firefighters and AVIS volunteers in the presence of the AVIS regional health director of Basilicata, Dr. Domenico Cavaliere (video), who explained what the donation consists of and what the benefits are for the donor . The day, in which the parish priest Don Pablo Alberto Heis also participated and donated, was strongly supported by the firefighters of the Terranova detachment, because, as explained by Avis of Terranova, these days of collaboration between entities that are committed to actively in saving human lives, from two different points of view, and in raising citizens’ awareness on issues of vital importance.
