The committee for Pepito’s return to Giulianova thanks those who signed up. For the return of the ashes, it is still necessary to collect 3130 euros.
The spontaneous committee of friends, established to support the return home of Romolo Algeni’s body, announces that the sum raised so far amounts to 1365 euros. Thanking those who have already generously signed up, we would like to point out that we have opted for the return of the ashes, the cost of which amounts to 4500 euros. The repatriation of the body would in fact have required a costly expense, not less than 12,000 euros.
To bring the urn to Giulianova, or to return “Pepito” to his land, approximately 3130 euros are still needed. The friends firmly believe that they will be able to reach the sum and, trusting in the goodness of the people of Giulia, they hope that others will give their contribution. The initiative, taken in agreement with the family, is very significant, essential so that the memory of Pepito is not just a message posted on Facebook but is expressed in a gesture of concrete solidarity and intact friendship.
