The week that has just begun will not be calm from a weather point of view. This phase of spring will in fact be marred by new disturbances destined to bring a lot of rain to a large part of Italy.
Weather today and tomorrow
During today a high pressure field of sub-tropical origin will be able to guarantee sunshine almost everywhere and above all temperatures well above the average: for example, in Sicily and Sardinia it will be possible to reach 28-30° C during the afternoon hours, as in Tuscany. However, it will be a respite from the bad weather, according to -. A deep Atlantic cyclone positioned between the British Isles and the Iberian Peninsula will send a first storm front which will make the weather worse as early as tomorrow afternoon/evening, Tuesday 30 April starting from the North-West and the two largest islands.
Weather May 1st
The most intense phase is expected to coincide with May 1st. Labor Day will therefore see a high risk of thunderstorms, especially in the Centre-North and, due to the strong contrasts between different air masses, the phenomena could be locally intense and hail.
Between Thursday 2nd and Friday 3rd May a second unstable pulse will start a new highly disturbed phase with frequent opportunities for thunderstorms. According to the latest updates, the regions of the Centre-North and part of the southern Tyrrhenian side will once again be at greatest risk. The weather and climate trend of this spring therefore continues, in which unseasonal heat waves are followed by markedly unstable and stormy phases; at the moment, in fact, there is no stable atmospheric figure capable of dominating the Mediterranean basin.

Wednesday 1 May: In the north: strong instability. In the center: scattered rain and thunderstorms. In the south: more sun than rain.
