Conero Running, solidarity wins

Fabio Ercoli of GS Lucchese won the Conero Running 2024 with a time of 1.11’44” ahead of Youness Zitouni of Osteria dei Podisti and his brother Marco Ercoli. In the women’s race, Silvia Luna of the Grottini Team won with a time of 1.22.39 ahead of Federica Moroni and Grazia Razzano. This is the sporting result of the event which saw 1,149 runners registered at the start, 600 of whom were in the half marathon and the others between Conero Ten (10 km) and Mini Conero (4 km).

Members came from all over Italy for a now classic event which allowed many participants to take a few days’ holiday among the beauties of the Conero, taking advantage of the long bridge. Much of the race took place within the Conero Park, whose president Luigi Conte invited everyone “to return again for the holidays and not just limit themselves to enjoying the beaches and the sea but to take advantage of the paths and enjoy nature “. The race with start and finish in Numana covered the entire seafront up to Porto Recanati and returned with arrival inside the Port of Numana.

Conero Running once again also won the solidarity race which led to the donation of one euro of the registration fee to the different races that the participants were asked to pay, in support of the Doric pediatric facility and its projects. The dolphin “Salesino” was the mascot of Conero Running, welcoming participants of all ages onto the route. The runners’ departure was also preceded by the participation of Giulia’s Insuperabily by Orizzonte Autonomia Onlus.
