Fallout 4’s next-gen update continues to generate controversyespecially regarding performance and the two presets on Xbox Series X. However, Bethesda wanted to clarify the situation with a post published on its social profiles.

The confusion comes from the fact that There doesn’t seem to be anything different between the two options but as specified by Bethesda, in Performance mode the game further lowers the details and settings to run reaching the goal of 4K 60fps.
