Last November, Zack Snyder he had revealed That Rebel Moon And Army of the Dead they share the same universe. Now that the second part of the blockbuster is also available on Netflix (READ THE REVIEW) the director returned to the question, revealing which character acts as the bridge between the two films. Here are his words in an interview with CB:
Rebel Moon And Army of the Dead they can definitely exist in the same universe. I think I’ve said this before, but there’s a character in the first movie [di Rebel Moon]: When the protagonists enter the bar there is a Xanadite. Xanadite is that blue girl with glowing markings on her, she comes straight from the animated series of Army of the Dead that we never finished. The place they go, where the zombie outbreak comes from, is a planet they call Xanadu, the scientists call it that because they are big fans of Olivia Newton-John, so they go to Xanadu and to the Xanadites, basically where the zombie outbreak comes from, she’s one of them. So there’s an interdimensional thing that they go through and there’s the possibility of a weird mashup.
