About halfway through Rebel Moon – Part 2: the scarer, the protagonists reunite before the battle against the imperial forces and begin to talk about what influenced their fight against the villains, through a series of flashbacks in which we learn more about their past. In a recent interview with THR, director Zack Snyder noted that this passage, modeled after the “Last Supper,” was originally intended for Justice League 2the never-made sequel to the cinecomic DC released in 2017. Here are his words:
There’s absolutely a Last Supper in there Justice League 2, and the scene involved them telling the story of how they got there, because Justice League 2 opened 10 years in the future from today.
