Yesterday was a day of pain and reflection after the news of the death of Stefano Diaferio, just 18 years old. She passed the age of majority on February 6th. The young man, Friday evening, April 26, is fell with the scooter a short distance from homein via Galileo Ferraris, e he lost his life.
Diaferio was known in the cycling environment as mountain bike athlete by force of SC Barbieri of Valeggio sul Mincio. Yesterday he was expected in Stevenà di Caneva (Pordenone) for a junior category race.
«We will not only remember him as an athlete, but also as a truly boy with a heart of gold» writes the Verona Provincial Committee of the Italian Cycling Federation on Facebook.
