Correct use of EVO oil, training day for Giovinazzo restaurateurs

The training day dedicated to local restaurateurs on the correct use of high quality extra virgin olive oil was held with great success in the San Felice room in Giovinazzo. The event, organized by local farms “Depalo”, “Le Tre Colonne” and “Oro di Rufolo”saw the participation of numerous restaurateurs from Giovinazzo, who were able to deepen their knowledge of this excellent product and learn how to make the most of it.
The initiative, born from the need to promote greater awareness and valorisation of extra virgin olive oil, represented an important step forward for the Giovinazzo area. In fact, oil not only represents a fundamental element of the local gastronomic tradition, but also has great economic and tourism potential.

The active participation of restaurateurs and the immediate use of the advice provided demonstrates the essential need for collaboration between the parties involved. A path which, thanks to the synergy between local companies, institutions and sector operators, promises to bear increasingly significant fruits.
The training day was conducted by the expert taster Piero Palanti of Extravoglio, who guided those present on a 360° journey of understanding extra virgin olive oil.
