Lazio Primavera unfortunately fell to Fersini and lost 1-3 against Atalanta. The Bergamo players went ahead first in the 28th minute with Riccio and then at the end of the first half with Vlahovic. Beyond Atalanta’s strength, we did our part by giving away the second and third goals. We didn’t make the right choices, we weren’t positioned well on the pitch. All in all the match was balanced in the first half hour, but when you meet these teams they punish you at the slightest mistake. There are no problems in complimenting Atalanta. How do we get to the derby? We’ve had some physical problems lately but we’re doing well, thanks to an extraordinary championship. Now two tough races await us.
Today the approach wasn’t bad, but after the first half hour we gave away, in my opinion, the second and third goals. It was the type of race where we shouldn’t be caught unprepared on an open field and unfortunately this happened. In the second half we had chances but the difference is that they made them happen. We did our best, let it serve as a lesson because we cannot afford certain mistakes against certain teams. Milani? He is one of our strengths, a soldier from a mentality point of view. He is growing from a defensive point of view.”
