VALMADRERA – On April 25th, after the official Liberation Day ceremony, the mayor of Valmadrera Antonio Rusconi visited the lady Teresina Dell’Orowho celebrated 102 years old.
Present i children Wilma and Luigi, several times councilor and deputy mayor of Valmadrera and their respective families, Mrs. Teresina demonstrated great clarity and serenity, so much so that her children organized a lunch with their closest family members. During the meeting Teresina spoke his memories of April 25ththe years of youth, a true historical memory of the Valmadrera community having been born, raised and always lived in Valmadrera.
Many met her last Wednesday at the supermarket (Teresina says that this way she “gets some fresh air”) and above all she successfully practices crossword puzzles. During the meeting with the mayor, she brought her greeting bishop of Houstonmonsignor Italo Dell’Oro, for a few days in Valmadrera, nephew of the birthday girl herself. A curiosity: the centenarians in Valmadrera are currently all women, six of them.
