The interventions of the Municipality of Lugo to restore the infrastructure damaged by the flood will start from Via Compagnoni on Monday. The road in the city center, where work is being carried out in the stretch between Corso Garibaldi and Via Emaldi, is therefore the first project to be launched of the thirty-two for which the municipal administration has obtained funding of 21 million euros from the commissioner structure.
The construction site will lead to some changes to the road system such as the closure of the road in the affected section, i.e. between Corso Garibaldi and Via Emaldi, for the entire duration of the works. Closing on Monday starts at around 8.40am. On Thursday 2 May, a pre-closure will be carried out starting from the intersection with viale Miraglia on via Compagnoni and piazza Trisi on via Emaldi; via Emaldi will be reopened on the evening of May 3rd. The investment for via Compagnoni is equal to 150 thousand euros and the project envisages, if necessary, the restoration of underground services such as connections to sewer drains if they are found to be compromised during the site inspection phase.
