The Sports and Health Cultural Association met the students of the two-year classes of the Mossa Institute in Oristano, as part of the regional communication and awareness project against addictions “No Addictions Tour”, aimed at all schools in Sardinia.

On this occasion, an exhibition of 15 panels explaining the effects of psychoactive substances on the brain of adolescents was presented in the Institute’s auditorium, conceived and curated by Professor Stefano Canali, professor of Neuroscience at Roma Tre University.

The presentation of the exhibition was curated by the Sport and Health Cultural Association, with the support of Fabrizio Floris, psychologist from the SerD of Oristano. The exhibition will be hosted at Mossa until 5 May and, with the support of in-depth documents, will be available to teachers and students.

In the year just ended, thousands of children from around 50 schools in Sardinia were involved. The aim of the project is to involve and raise awareness among students and young people about the dangers of addictions, promoting prevention and presenting healthy lifestyle alternatives.

On Wednesday 8 May the exhibition will then be open to the public at the Sa Rodia sports hall, on the occasion of the “Nodipendenze” awareness day, from 9am to 1.30pm. The exhibition is itinerant, free and available to institutions that request it.
