Graduation Day in Venice: 700 doctors expected in Piazza San Marco on April 30th

At 11am the Rector Tiziana Lippiello will open the ceremony, followed by the microphone for the other institutional greetings from the authorities

Graduation Day arrives for almost 700 doctors of the extraordinary session 2022/2023: the proclamation ceremony will be held Tuesday 30 April 2024 at 11:00, as always in the traditional setting of Piazza San Marco.
The seat reservation procedure will be active from 10.00 am on Thursday 4 April until 12.00 pm on Tuesday 16 April. Graduates will be able to show up with a maximum of two companions indicated in advance during the booking phase, who will be assigned a seat in the area dedicated to guests. Given the exceptional nature of the event and the high number of participants, all those booked will need to go to the venue at least 45 minutes before the start of the ceremony, in order to be able to sit in the reserved seats before the start.
The day will be structured as usual inside Piazza San Marco. At 11.00 the Rector Tiziana Lippiello will open the ceremony, bringing greetings from the University and then leaving the microphone to the other institutional greetings from the city and academic authorities. Subsequently we will proceed with the traditional delivery of degree diplomas and the proclamation of the male and female graduates.
