The Lazio Regional Council, on the proposal of the councilor for Personnel, Urban Security, the local Police, local authorities and the University, Luisa Regimentsapproved a memorandum of understanding between the Lazio Region and the Order of Psychologists of Lazio for the implementation of psychological support activities and projects for employees of the Regional Council.
Among the interventions planned are a welfare service named agreement “Psychological network”dedicated to the staff of the Regional Council and their family members, so that they can benefit, following processing of the application by the internal service, of psychological counseling coursesthrough the professional networks established by the Order, at favorable economic conditionswith professionals registered with the Order and present throughout the entire regional territory.
The protocol also provides analysis initiativesplanning and monitoring on the processes and conditions of organizational well-being in favor of regional staffranging from the joint organization of awareness-raising, information and training events to the creation of health and wellbeing programmes, work-life balance or stress management and work organisation.
«We are very attentive to the well-being of regional employees because the health of those called upon to carry forward the regional administrative machine depends on their quality of life and work.
Today the relationship between psyche and health is increasingly clear in the collective conscience as well as in scientific evidence and this is why we wanted to implement the psychological support service opening this possibility also to the family members of regional employees through assisted and competent care. The Lazio Region wants to be a model from the point of view of corporate welfare, we will continue to work in this direction”, underlines the councilor Regiments.
