The road network after the flood in the center of Lugo will begin restoration in via Compagnoni from Monday

AND the start of work is scheduled for Monday 29 April restoration in via Compagnoni, in the center of Lugo. An intervention made necessary following the extensive damage suffered by the center of the Romagna town during the flood of May 2023.
The intervention, in the stretch between Corso Garibaldi and Via Emaldi, is the first project to be launched in the historic center of the 32 for which the municipal administration obtained financing of 21 million euros from the commissioner structure led by General Figliuolo.

As of course, the construction site will determine some changes to the road system. On Monday 29 April the closure of the section affected by the works will begin at approximately 8.40am. On Thursday 2 May, a pre-closure will be carried out starting from the intersection with viale Miraglia on via Compagnoni and piazza Trisi on via Emaldi; via Emaldi will be reopened on the evening of May 3rd.
The investment for via Compagnoni is equal to 150 thousand euros and the project envisages, if necessary, the restoration of underground services such as connections to sewer drains if they are found to be compromised during the site inspection phase.
