In Terni, TT Casamassima wins the Under 15 women’s Italian team race

The Casamassima table tennis girls won the Under 15 team title of the Italian Youth Championships. At the PalaTennistavolo “Aldo De Santis” in Terni they beat ASV TT Südtirol 3-0 in the final.

Gioia Picu beat Melissa Oprandi by 3-0 (11-6, 11-8, 12-10), Federica Interlandi by 3-1 (11-6, 10-12, 11-8, 11-8) Laura Depentori and in doubles Sofia Episcopo and Interlandi prevailed 3-1 (11-7, 9-11, 11-8, 11-6) over Oprandi and Depentori.

In the semi-final, TT Casamassima prevailed 3-1 over Table Tennis Sassari, with Picu’s 3-0 (11-7, 11-5, 11-2) over Maria Laura Mura, the 3-1 (11-5 , 7-11, 11-6, 11-8) by Episcopo and Interlandi over Laura Pinna and Mura and 3-2 (12-10, 11-4, 7-11, 10-12, 11-9) by Picu on Pinna. For the Sardinians, Pinna defeated Interlandi 3-2 (11-7, 11-9, 7-11, 8-11, 11-3).

TT Südtirol prevailed 3-1 over Table Tennis Vallecamonica, with Depentori’s 3-0 (11-4, 11-5, 11-6) over Alice Galli, the 3-1 (11-9, 4- 11, 11-7, 11-8) by Depentori and Oprandi over Galli and Greta Fettolini and 3-2 (11-4, 7-11, 11-9, 8-11, 11-8) by Depentori over Fettolini. For the Lombard team, Fettolini ruled Oprandi 3-0 (11-4, 11-8, 14-12).
