ORTONA- “Politics for the rebirth of Ortona” is the theme of a meeting that will be held on Saturday afternoon, at 6.30 pm, in the Sala Eden auditorium. A meeting open to citizens in which the councilors of Fratelli d’Italia Franco Vanni and Angelo Di Nardo, those of Città che amo Italia Cocco, Simona Rabottini and Antonio Sorgetti, the courageous councilor of Ortona Simonetta Schiazza and the councilor of popular Abruzzo Gianluca will participate Coletti.
After the resignation of nine city councilors and the dissolution of the city councilthe prefectural commissioner took office on 12 April Gianluca Braga who will carry out the roles of mayor, council and city council and will lead the city to the vote in June 2025.
The political forces are therefore reorganizing themselves in view of the electoral appointment. The group of minority councilors will therefore speak to the city, for the first time after the fall of mayor Leo Castiglione, presenting a project from which Ilario Cocciola, the most left wing of the opposition group, seems to be excluded and who challenged, in 2022, Castiglione himself is on the ballot.
