This morning the Galvani institute, in the Niguarda area of Milan, experienced moments of tension when a 15-year-old student of the institute showed up and, showing a knife, asked for a teacher who was not present at school at the time.

MILAN – The Carabinieri of the Greco Milanese Station and the Radiomobile Unit intervened today at a high school in Milan where a student of the institute entered armed with a knife asking for a teacher who was not present at the school at the time.

It happened in via Francesco Gatti, at the Bertrand Russell Scientific High School and Human Sciences High School which also houses the Omero Classical High School. As reported by Prima Milano, given the dangerous situation, two of the teacher’s colleagues intervened and managed to disarm him but were hit with several punches in an attempt to stop him. One of the two teachers was transported under code green to the Niguarda hospital.

After the attack, the boy fled the institute on foot and was shortly afterwards stopped by the Carabinieri of the Greco station for resisting a public official towards the teachers.
Initial information revealed that the 15-year-old, who has not attended school since February, has always behaved in an agitated and disruptive manner during lessons, towards teachers and students.
