A day in which the values ​​of democracy and anti-fascism that led Italy to structure itself as a free Republic regulated by an admirable Constitution remain fundamental. Well, in the current crisis, a civil, social, political, economic crisis, referring to Liberation becomes a moral obligation. And today’s celebration must not end on a day of celebration, but must continue throughout the year, precisely to guarantee the future of the national democratic structure, an indispensable value. The contents of Liberation Day must today be the pillars of daily regeneration. The celebrations will begin today in front of the War Memorial in Caserta. At 9.45 the ceremony with the laying of the laurel wreath by the prefect Giuseppe Castaldo, the mayor Carlo Marino, the president of the Province Giorgio Magliocca and the commander of the Garibaldi Brigade Mario Ciorra. The fighting and arms associations will be present, as well as the civil and military authorities of the province. Also present were the trade union representatives of CGIL, CILS and UIL. At the end of the event the Fanfare of the 8th Bersaglieri Regiment will parade along Corso Trieste to Piazza Dante where they will play some songs.
