An accident on Via Salaria sends traffic into a tailspin. On Wednesday, in the late morning, around 12.20, at kilometer 18+800 of Via Salaria, between Settebagni (Gra exit/Roma Nord branch) and Tenuta Santa Colomba, a car and a lorry collided: the lorry it overturned, losing the load of logs it was carrying. The truck driver was transported in serious condition by 118 to Villa San Pietro hospital. However, the woman driving the car was unharmed. The photo of the accident ended up on social media.

The dynamics
Two vehicles were involved in the accident – the causes of which are still being ascertained, as reported by Anas – including a heavy vehicle which overturned and lost its load and there were injuries. Anas teams, 118 and the police are present on site to investigate the dynamics, manage the event and restore traffic as quickly as possible.
