The Messina firefighters were called into action this morning to tackle two separate fires, demonstrating once again their commitment and readiness in ensuring the safety of the community.
The first intervention took place around 12:00 in Milazzo, precisely in via Ciantro. A team of firefighters was sent to the scene to put out the flames which had spread inside a container used to store work tools. Thanks to the rapid response of the emergency teams, the fire was quickly extinguished, avoiding major damage.
Shortly afterwards, around 12.30, a rescue call was received at the Messina operations room for a second fire, this time in a house on the third floor of Via Roma in the municipality of Scaletta Zanclea. The first departure of the firefighters immediately went to the scene, with special vehicles such as fire engines, ladder trucks and tank trucks, sent from the headquarters. Thanks to the timely intervention of the emergency teams, the flames were put out and the situation was quickly made safe.
Fortunately, no injuries to people were reported in either of the two interventions, which testifies to the effectiveness and professionalism of the Messina fire brigade teams in managing emergency situations and protecting the lives and property of citizens.
