A choice made at the end of a participatory and popular process, open to the contribution of a variety of subjects, from representatives of political groups to exponents of associations and volunteers, from entrepreneurs to professionals and citizens who voluntarily joined the Civic Pact project , sharing common values and objectives.
Intending to work, first of all, to encourage the recomposition and cohesion of the social fabric of Novigrad, rebuilding a community spirit. Giving voice and uniting people and energies who want to see Cittanova progress and be a positive protagonist of a new phase of growth and development.
The designation, unanimously, went towards an authoritative figure, of high moral and cultural depth, with significant experiences gained at a political and administrative level, always experienced as a service to the Novigrad community.
Dr. Delfa was identified as a person capable of fully embodying the path undertaken by CITTANOVA CIVICA which aims to involve the healthy and capable energies present in the city community, with the aim of building a new valid project to govern the city in compliance with fundamental principles such as legality and the protection of rights, capable of offering certainties and opportunities to its citizens starting from the new generations and relaunching confidence in the future.
The candidate for Mayor, assisted by the working group chosen by the Civic Committee, will work calmly and in full independence to build a team that represents the civic project and that will have to support him in the challenging task that awaits him, in the knowledge that all the conditions are present to propose itself positively for the administrative leadership of the country.
The Civic Pact “CITTANOVA CIVICA” considered that the civil passion and social commitment of Dr. Delfa can provide ample guarantee in this sense to bring together the different experiences, cultures and sensitivities that animate the promoters of the civic project.
