At 9pm, in the catechism classroom hallthere will instead be an evening of short films testimonies from Centalla residents or people connected with the Centalla area during the war, edited by Centallo alive in collaboration with theChecco Bossi ensemble.

“With this evening – they explain from the association – we aim to reread or make public some entries from Centalle, mostly of people who have now passed away, which it has been possible to collect over the past years. Thus the memories of some reprisals of which the town was a silent and terrified spectator will be relived, together with some characters from our local resistance who will be able to emerge from the folds of history.”

The testimonies will be interspersed with singing performances by the Checco Bossi ensemble, which will propose some of the most popular songs of the partisan struggle with which it has enriched its repertoire. “We also wanted to include two songs – adds Livio Giacoma -, the words of one of which are attributed to the Centallese partisan commander Faustino Dalmazzo who we think is right to remember, while the other is attributed to the pen of Nuto Revelli, to whom we dedicate it as tribute on the centenary of his birth”.
