Yesterday was a memorable evening for the many Valdarno Inter fans and even more so for the members and supporters of the Inter Club Valdarno Nerazzurro, who met at the Asso di Fiori club, in the Gruccia area of Montevarchi, home of the association, to follow the Madonnina derby. The TV room was packed, with over 130 Nerazzurri hearts of all ages who followed the match that gave the old Ambrosiana its second star. Scenes of jubilation at the two goals from Acerbi and Thuram, great suffering in the final with Milan desperately trying to equalize and spoil the celebration, until arriving at the authentic explosion of joy at the end of the match (images above). Inter won the Scudetto and so did their fans who followed them in large numbers all year long.
At the end of the match, there was applause and chants at the Gruccia, at the end of a season that will remain in the annals. Meanwhile, the board of directors of the Club, which this year has reached an almost record number of members, over 250, all from Valdarno, is preparing to organize a big dinner to be held next June. It will be called “the second star dinner” to celebrate a championship that will definitely remain in history.
