Great turnout at the second appointment of the Spezia Calcio coaching course, which yesterday evening saw the participation of a special guest, Maurizio Viscidi, coordinator of the FIGC men’s national youth teams.
Sold out in the conference room of the Santa Caterina Park Hotel in Sarzana, which for the occasion saw the participation not only of the coaches enrolled in the course, but also of all the technicians who make up the Aquilotto Youth Sector, interested in taking part in the lessons held from Viscidi, for a total of 150 present.
The coordinator of the Italian national teams addressed the topic of methodology, present in his latest book, entitled “The perfect match”, where the coach analyzes the most current tactical trends and their methodological developments. In particular, starting from the analysis of the game, Viscidi spoke about useful ways to dominate the game such as offensive and defensive danger.
The in-depth analysis of the different “games within games” is innovative, such as construction against the first pressure and vice versa, positional attack against positional defense and vice versa. Finally, the division of the pitch into two parts: the first, occupied by the first 75 meters of the pitch and characterized by simple football, made up of dribbling and ball possession and the second, that of the last 25 metres, characterized mainly by one-on-one and dribbling.
Present at the event, in addition to the Youth Sector Managers Davide Caliaro and Stefano Ghisleni, also the CEO of the Club Andrea Gazzoli, the Chief Football Officer Eduardo Macía and the Sports Director Stefano Melissano.
