1926 – Germany: Treaty of Berlin (1926): agreement of neutrality and friendship between Russia, represented by Cicerin, and Germany. With this treaty, Germany intended to reassure Russia, which had shown itself reticent following the German signing of the Locarno Pact (1925). In fact, the Treaty of Berlin intended to reconfirm the link between the two powers that began with the Treaty of Rapallo (1922).
