Descriptive text here

As a result of the serious fires and the exceptional heat wave that affected the territory of the provinces of Catania, Messina, Palermo and Trapani starting from 23 July 2023, with a resolution of the Council of Ministers of 26 February 2024, the state was declared emergency and, with OCDPC n. 1078 of 13 March 2024 of the National Department of Civil Protection, the first provisions to deal with the emergency were given.

To follow up on the provisions of Ordinance no. 1078/2024 and the immediate support measures for the economic and social fabric towards the population and economic and productive activities directly affected by the calamitous events, the Commissioner delegated to Ordinance no. 1078/2024, with commissioner provision no. 1 of 03/22/2024, identified the Office of the Delegate Commissioner in the Civil Protection Department of the Sicilian Region and appointed the General Manager of said Department as the person in charge of exercising management duties of a technical, administrative and accounting nature.

In order to proceed with the estimate of the resources necessary for initial immediate support, the Department of Civil Protection of the Sicilian Region, in compliance with the provisions of Ordinance no. 1078/2024 (art. 4 paragraph 3), with note prot. n. 15367/DG/DRPC Sicily of 04/16/2024, has provided that all those who have suffered damage to the building heritage, to the economic and productive activities and to the public heritage, resulting from the event referred to in the object, for any recognition of the contribution, fill in the new forms B1 and C1 attached.

The forms must be completed and submitted by Tuesday 7 May 2024.

It should be noted that only requests presented through the aforementioned B1 and C1 forms can be processed for the admissibility of the contribution, as the requests already sent, which are merely reconnaissance, do not meet the validity requirements established by OCDPCN 1078/2024.

Any delay with respect to the above deadline, or irregularities in the compilation, may cause non-recognition of any contributions to private individuals.

The requests, complete with the required documentation, must be submitted by certified email (PEC: [email protected]), no later than 11.59pm on 7 May 2024.

Ballots received after the deadline will be accepted with reserve.

The submission of the requests referred to in this notice does not in any way constitute automatic recognition of any contributions, or entitlement for compensation for damages suffered, to be paid by the Public Finance.

For any clarification needs, you can contact the Office for Civil Protection and Percolating Buildings, located at the Technical Center in Via Ausonia n. 69 tel. 091.7401452.
