The CSEN National Karate Cup was held on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st April at the Palasport PalaPatrizzoli in Fidenza. An edition with record numbers which saw the participation of 120 associations with over 2000 members for a total of 2700 tests.

Among the athletes who competed in the various disciplines, there was also the young Bastiola Eva Magrini of Cus Perugia coached by Serena Dragoni. In the Beginners category – 45 kg, Eva climbed to the top step of the podium, winning the gold medal. Thanks to this important result, the girl has obtained the pass for the 7th WGKF GOJU-RYU Championship 2024 which will be held next September in Vienna.

A great satisfaction for Eva Magrini and for the entire Cus Perugia team which, under the guidance of the technicians Serena Dragoni and Daniela Bianconi, saw its thirty fighters achieve success in every category and win second place as a team in kumite and third place in the general classification.

“A great day, we are really happy with the results obtained – declared Serena Dragoni – a moment of growth for our boys engaged on multiple fronts in this start of the Olympics season which has led to concentrating all the competitions in these first months . We don’t stop today and we already have the next regional and Italian championships in our sights and in May the National University Championships of Campobasso await us before some international trips”.
