In Castelmassa the ceremony to celebrate 20 years of the fire brigade detachment

CASTELMASSA (Rovigo) – On the morning of Tuesday 23 April, celebrations took place for the twentieth year of operation of the Castelmassa (Rovigo) fire brigade detachment, inaugurated on 10 December 2004. Fire brigade garrison which has represented a high strategic value for the safety of the Alto Polesine area for 20 years.

The commander from Rovigo will do the honors Claudio Fortucci, who welcomed the interregional director Loris Munaro, other leaders of the Corps and other civil and military authorities. Also present at the ceremony the Eng. Sarno, commander in the period of the establishment of the detachment. After the Holy Mass celebrated by the parish priest of Castelmassa Don Stefano Marcomini, a demonstration exercise took place with the unrolling of the Tricolore from the maneuvering castle.

Commander Fortucci took the floor to greet and said: “We are happy with this day and I thank all the staff who organized the event. I thank the mayor who gave us the opportunity to achieve all this.”

Continuing, he added “In the last period we have made several improvements to the structure and we are happy to be able to give our contribution every day in the area together with the other law enforcement agencies.”
