Yesterday morning the mayor Alessandro Giulivi, together with the deputy mayor Serafini and the head of the VIII sector Vincenzo Vergati, participated in the meeting that the Lazio region organized at the Altiero Spinelli library in Rome.

For the occasion, the measures that the Regional Council has envisaged in favor of the coastal municipalities regarding the “Blue Economy” and support for the next bathing season were examined in depth. The objective is to make resource allocation procedures more streamlined and effective. Environment, improvement of services and beach nourishment are the three themes that the Region intends to improve with specific funding. The tenders are imminent and the municipality of Tarquinia will participate.

Following this, the mayor took part in a technical discussion in the presence of the regional department, the Maritime Directorate and representatives of the maritime compartments, in order to examine some issues regarding safety and the application of beach ordinances.

“I thank the regional councilor for economic development Roberta Angelilli for receiving us and for listening carefully to the problems linked to coastal erosion of the Tarquinia coast” – comments Alessandro Giulivi. “The development of our city also depends on the correct management of the sea economy in its entirety”.
