At least nine Palestinians, including six children, died in an Israeli airstrike in the western neighborhood of Tel Sultan in the Gaza Strip city of Rafah. The attack hit a residential building, Gaza Civil Defense said. Rafah is currently home to more than half of Gaza’s total population, around 2.3 million people, most of whom have been displaced by fighting in the rest of the Strip.
