Saint Theodore. Sardinia is under the assault of renewable multinationals: it is not a question of a desirable energy transition in the name of “green” policies, but of real speculation. In fact, on the island, there are over 800 projects for the installation of industrial systems presented: we are talking about around 3000 wind turbines (180 to 240 m high) and almost 50,000 hectares of photo and agrivoltaic systems. All for an overall energy production capable of satisfying the energy needs of 60 million people.
This will be discussed on Monday 22 April in San Teodoro, in a public meeting organized by the Gallura Coordination against wind and photovoltaic speculation in concert with the Union of Gallura Riviera Municipalities. The appointment is at 5.00 pm in the council room of the Municipality, in via Grazia Deledda.
Following this, the Union of Gallura Riviera Municipalities will hold a resolution against energy speculation.
The event is free and open to all citizens.
