(TMOL) The Grand Gala of Oil – The Gold of Italy and the Mediterranean 2024 – EXPOLEA, in the name of OLEA, will make Fano, the historic and charming Adriatic city, the Fanum Fortunae, symbol of Roman times, of Vitruvius and of Lysippos, of the Arch of Augustus, gateway to the Consular Flaminia, of the important shipbuilding industry and of the famous navy and of the oldest and sweetest Carnival in Italy, the capital of the best extra virgin olive oils of Italy and the Mediterranean. An event dedicated to producers and a unique and tempting opportunity for all enthusiasts and lovers of extra virgin olive oil, for the many initiatives proposed by OLEA also for this edition. The Gran Galà dell’Olio, 2024 edition, is the major event of the OLEA tasting school, in which the absolute protagonist is the oil obtained from olives together with its main interpreters, i.e. those who produce the oil: olive growers and mill workers who they will be rewarded for their excellent results, also obtained in this olive oil campaign. The 2024 edition, in addition to the day dedicated to the awards ceremony for the best oils participating in the competitions, includes the staging of the 3rd edition of EXPOLEA – Il Salotto dell’Olio, a real small oil fair, which will see the presence of important local and Italian companies, with their best oils and products. Two special days to rejoice together with the producers and celebrate the extraordinary results they have achieved thanks to their passion for their work, amply demonstrated by the excellence of the awarded oils. The event, organized under the direction of OLEA, was carried out in collaboration with the Municipality of Fano, with the patronage of MASAF – Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forestry, the Marche Region, the Marche Regional Council, the Province of Pesaro and Urbino, the Cassa di Risparmio di Fano Foundation, the BCC of Fano and other bodies and institutions, the collaboration of the Viandanti dei Sapori Association and the A. Cecchi Agricultural Technical Institute of Pesaro. Let’s meet at the Gran Galà dell’Olio 2024 full of many activities open to the public: conferences, awards ceremonies, meetings, tastings, sensory workshops, presentations and promotional initiatives aimed at professional tasters, producers, enthusiasts and even children.
