Gianluca Grignani’s rockmantic soul is shining again: yesterday 18 April 2024 an engaging and exuberant performance in full Grignani style at the Orion in Ciampino (Rome).
After having waited for a good half hour, around 10pm there he was, Gianluca Grignaniawaited by its very loyal audience, who enter the doors of the venue, almost like any other customer.
He goes on stage and: “I’m going to the dressing room for a moment, I’ll be right back”.
And, it must be said, he kept his word: a few minutes later he was back, in the wake of the first notes of “Romantic Rock Show”: what better way to inaugurate his “Remnants of Rock’n’roll Tour 2024”?
Everyone present couldn’t take their eyes off ours Rocker-Jockerwhich among incredible guitar, accordion, jumps and high-pitched solos, truly entertained and enthused everyone present.
A concert of few words and many facts: Gianluca didn’t get lost in chatter, he gave life to a show where music was the undisputed protagonist, celebrating some of his greatest successes: “Walk in the sun”, “Paradise destination”, “My story between my fingers”, “Half falcon” and many other pearls of his discography, always halfway between rock and ballad.
The scratched voice that reaches straight to the heart has sometimes been replaced by electric guitar solos that have dragged the audience, the band, and Gianluca himself who was guided by his fingers into a parallel universe made only of inspiration and emotions, bringing all the present with you.
And at the end of the magic, ours Joker he disappeared as if in a cloud of smoke, leaving only the music to speak, the true queen of this concert and this tour.
What can I say, Gianluca, other than rock’n’roll “remnants”, you still have everything a true rock star needs: soul, style, talent and damnation.
